The weather is really cold here in Texas, so I jumped on the opportunity to test out a delicious cold weather dish from Country Bob's cookbook. Country Potato Soup sure hit the spot. Here's how we did it (full recipe and "how to" included so grab your pen and paper).

I have never thought of nutmeg in potatoe soup?
I will have to search the grocery store to see if Country Bob's is available in WI.

This looks absolutely delicious. We do soup and sandwich night once a week here and I love trying new soups, so this is surely on the list! One of my new favorites though, to answer your question, is one I made last week-Blue Cheese and Bacon soup smilies/smiley.gif

This looks like a fantastic soup to make during the winter months, I'm going to try it out. I just gave a friend a housewarming gift with some Country Bob's Sauce in the package, I'm going to pass this recipe on to her as well!

This looks soooooooooooooooooooo good!!!!1

I have had potato soup before, but from a dried mix (just add water sort of thing). This recipe is a million times better. I am so going to make this! Thank you for sharing the recipe and the video. I'm drooling on my computer!

I love Country Bob's sauce. I would have never thought about adding it to potato soup.

MMM, that looks so good. I've never tried country bobs but I've seen it around. Looks like I'm going to have to try it now just to liven up my potato soup. WHICH I LOVE!!
