We have a lot of fun chatting with Country Bob's fans on Facebook. We pose questions, play trivia and get to know those that love Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce.
Recently, we posed this question:
"How did you find out about Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce and how long have you been using it?"
We learned so much about how the word travels about the sauce and really enjoyed reading the responses.
Here are a few of the answers:
"I think they pass it out now in the hospital delivery room along with the formula don't they? It's good stuff. Taste(s) great on almost anything. My latest food product to try with Country Bob's was grilled salmon. One word: Awesome" - Randy
"I found it on a frugal blog when you were giving out coupons for a free bottle. Then we tried it and got addicted. lol. it is so yummy!" - Sarah
"It's produced about 20 miles from me, so grew up with it in the fridge! My husband puts it on everything from biscuits and gravy to burritos!" - Candace
"When I first started dating my husband anout 7 years ago. I WAS AN A1 LOVER NOW IT IS JUST COUNTRY BOB'S IN OUR HOUSE." - Melanie
"Went to college with Country Bob's grandson and they served it in the cafeteria. Love the stuff!!" - MarySue
"Just thought you'd like to know that Jason M. left us a case of sauce in Ramadi, Iraq - I was thrilled to get some hometown sauce! We used it in all our camp cookouts, and police officers from all over the US and military personnel got to use it (and love it), as well as many of our Arabic Interpreters! Naturally, it was a big hit, and I'm sure there are a lot more fans world-wide because of it! Thank you, Jason, and thank you, Country Bob's!" - Troy
"I found out about it through blog giveaways (I saw it on so many I HAD to try it!) and I love it on the grill!" - Kitty
"In the late 60s early 70s Bob Edson drove a Marathon Gas delivery truck, and our farm tank was on his route, what a great guy..." - Gus

Tonight, we were all hungry and time got away from us. I didn't have a recipe or ingredients handy so I whipped up this tasty meal in no time flat.

Earlier this month, I went to my first blogging conference. BlissDom was a wonderful place. I met many bloggers and made new friends. I also formed relationships and had fun at the Country Party (where the fabulous Jyl from The Post-It Place made tasty pulled pork sandwiches using Country Bob's sauces). Thank you to Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce for sending me to BlissDom.
I am writing up more for Country Bob's newsletter (subscribe here) and will also have updates here and at my personal blog. Have a blessed Sunday!

We saw a clod roast on sale this week. Never having done one, we wanted to give it a try. It is a lean cut of meat a little on the tough side. Low and slow is the way to go here. We did a garlic pepper crust and injected it with a 50/50 mix of Country Bob’s Sauce and cranberry juice. It smoked for 8 hours at 275 degrees. It came out sweet and tender and we used the leftovers in our garlic soup, thinking this would be a great week for soup because of the storms.

We have had the pleasure of working with many bloggers who try out our sauce and blog their thoughts. Recently, we received this review from Michelle of the Because I Said So!!! Mom Knows Best! blog. She is a steak lover but did not care for sauce.
I think we converted her and her son. What do you think? Here is an exerpt from her review.

Good morning! What's cooking this Tuesday morning?
I wanted to share a tasty sounding recipe from another blogger that loves Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce. While tweeting recently, I saw a link come across from Tanya at Mommy Goggles. The link was to a post on her blog featuring a recipe that includes Country Bob's. It looked easy and tasty, so I wanted to share it with you.
She prepared meatballs for New Year's and had some leftover so she made Meatball Sandwiches. Click here to head on over to Tanya's blog found at www.mommygoggles.com for the recipe.

Next month, I will be at my first blogging conference, BlissDom, thanks to Country Bob's. In celebration, we will be hosting fun online giveaways during the event (keep a close eye on the blog, Twitter and Facebook for details). We can't wait to "Sauce It Up" in Nashville, Tennessee.
Where are you "saucin' it up" with Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce? We want to know.
We are kicking off a fun promotion and want you to join in. We'd love for you to send us photos of you or your family with your Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce. This will be like "where in the world is Country Bob's?". We want to know all the fun places our sauce travels once it leaves Centralia, Illinois. Do you send the great taste of Country Bob's overseas to a family member? Maybe you recently grilled a steak in a park while camping near a national landmark. Did you serve burgers and fries with the sauce at your child's birthday party (would love to see your kids enjoying it)? Is Country Bob's on the dinner table every night when you sit down for your family meal?
Send us a photo at the location of your choice. We'd love to see your smiling face in the photo as well, but the only requirement is that there is a bottle of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce somewhere in the picture. If you use the seasoning salt or barbecue sauce, we'd love to see that as well. Please include a caption explaining where the photo was taken and you'll be entered into a monthly drawing for fun Country Bob's merchandise.
We will post some of the photos on our blog, Facebook page and Twitter along with your first name and city. Click here to email us your photos.
We can't wait to see all the cool places our sauce gets to visit!

Good morning! So, how many of y'all tried out some of the unique uses for Country Bob's from yesterday's post? I have to raise my hand. I just HAD to try dipping pretzels in my favorite sauce. I admit I wasn't sure how I'd like it. It was good. It was very good! Thanks for the tip, Beth!
