We have been asked by numerous customers whether our Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce has gluten in it. I did not realize that there were so many people allergic to gluten. I did a little bit of research and found that gluten is a special type of protein that is commonly found in rye, wheat, and barley.
Therefore, it is found in most types of cereals and in many types of bread. Not all foods from the grain family, however, contain gluten. Examples of grains that do not have gluten include wild rice, corn, buckwheat, millet, amaranth, quinoa, teff, oats, soybeans and sunflower seeds. Our Country Bob's All Purpose sauce is GLUTEN FREE! Our sauce contains the following ingredients: tomato concentrate (tomato paste and water), vinegar, corn syrup, sugar, molasses, salt, onion powder, caramel color, garlic powder, tamarind, corn starch, natural flavors, and other spices. NO GLUTEN! I have had several bloggers (who are allergic to gluten) inquire about our ingredients and have written blogs about a recipe that they used our sauce in. If you have a question or comment about our sauce, please let us know. If you have a personal gluten free recipe, please post it in your comments. Thanks for your time and until next time - Be Happy and Don't Worry!
