Ingredients
2 large onions, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 lb lean stew meat, cut in 1 inch chunks
1/4 cup oil
2 cups water
2 tsp beef bouillon or 2 cups beef stock
1 1/2 cups V-8 juice
1/3 cup Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce (or may substitute Spicy)
1 clove of garlic
4 medium potatoes, cut in 1 inch cubes
bunch of celery
1 lb carrots cut up
Methods/steps
Cut up vegetables and set aside. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge meat in flour combination, shaking off excess. Heat oil in a heavy Dutch oven. Brown meat on all sides. With a paper towel, remove excess oil, taking care not to disturb the crumbles in the bottom of the pot. Add vegatbles, water and bouillon or stock, V-8, Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce, and garlic. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until meat and vegetables are tender. Add potatoes and simmer another 20 minutes.
