Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Get your daily dose of veggies in with asparagus. Of course, it’s still healthy when it’s wrapped in bacon - right?!

Ingredients

Two bunches of thick stem asparagus

1 pound of bacon

1 lemon cut into wedges

Country Bob’s seasoning salt 

Oil for cooking

Directions

Start by wrapping the bacon around the asparagus stem at an angle, working your way up the stem. Once you have all your asparagus stems wrapped, preheat your Blackstone Griddle to medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil to help prevent the bacon from sticking.

Place each wrapped asparagus stem on the griddle with the side that has the bacon ends down to begin with. This aided in it not unwrapping as the bacon shrank while cooking.

Season with Country Bob’s seasoning salt. Once bacon is at the doneness of your preference you can brush on some of your favorite Country Bob’s sauce

Once they are done, place on a cookie sheet lined with paper towels to absorb any grease and then squeeze fresh lemon juice over all of them.
