Country Bob’s Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
Bacon Wrapped Asparagus is an easy and delicious side dish - it pairs perfectly with just about any meal!
12 small asparagus spears or 6 large ones
4-6 strips thick cut bacon
2 tbsp Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp coarse black pepper
Preheat oven to 425. Cut the bottom 1.5 inches off of the asparagus and dispose. Coat the asparagus in Country Bob’s AP Sauce, liquid smoke and olive oil until well covered.
Bundle asparagus 3 to a strip of bacon if using small asparagus. If using large asparagus wrap each spear in one piece of bacon. Make sure the bacon is tightly wound and set on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle with coarse black pepper then bake for 12-15 minutes until the bacon has crisped and the asparagus is slightly charred. Remove and serve immediately!
You can also cook these on the grill for about 10-12 minutes, flipping once.
