1/2 pound ground beef – 2 burger patties
2 sesame buns (toasted)
2 slices cheddar cheese
1/2 Red onion sliced thin
8 jalapeno slices
2 tbsp Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt
4 tbsp Country Bob’s Original BBQ Sauce (divided)
1/2 cup shredded hash browns
4 slices bacon
Heat a skillet to medium heat and cook bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon and set aside. Leave the bacon grease in the pan and add 2 burger sized circles of hash browns to the pan. Cook hashbrowns until one side crisps, about 8 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until crisp. Remove hash browns then add the onions and jalapenos to the pan.
Saute the veggies until they are soft and slightly charred. About 5 minutes. Mix 2 tbsp of Country Bob’s Original Barbecue sauce with the veggies and stir until well coated. Remove the veggies and set aside.
In the same pan, cook the burger patties for 2-3 minutes per side. Once you flip the burgers add cheddar cheese to the hot side. While the burgers are cooking, fry the eggs in the same pan to your liking.
Assemble the burger by placing the cheesy burger patty on the toasted bun, followed by the bacon, hash brown, egg, sauteed veggies and the last tbsp of BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
