Ingredients:

1 pound thin sliced steak (preferably ribeye)

Juice from 1 lime

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried cilantro

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp chili powder

3 tsp Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt

1 hoagie bun

1 jalapeno cut into strips

1/4 red onion cut into strips

1/4 red bell pepper cut into strips

1/2 cup Oaxaca cheese

In a bowl, mix the lime juice, olive oil, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cilantro, paprika, chili powder, and Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt. Pour onto your steak and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat a cast iron pan to medium high heat. Add a little olive oil then add the jalapeno, red onion, and red bell pepper. Sprinkle with more Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt then cook until they start to char on the ends. About 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Place the steak on the cast iron and sear until cooked through. Usually about 3-4 minutes. Mix the steak with the veggie strips and stuff into the hoagie roll. Top with Oaxaca cheese and place in the oven under broil for about 4 minutes until the cheese melts. Remove from the oven and top with more roasted veggies if you have extra and it’s ready to serve!
