

Country Bob’s Spicy Cajun Shrimp Boil

Ingredients
1-2 pounds Raw Headless Deveined Shrimp
1 smoked sausage link cut into slices
5-6 small Potatoes
1 Corn Cob broken in half
3 tbsp Butter
1/3 cup Diced Red Onion
4 Garlic Cloves Minced
1 Jalapeno seeded and diced
1/3 cup Diced Green Onion
1/2 Chicken Bouillon cube broken up
2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
2 tsp Dried Onion Flakes
2 tsp Dried Garlic Flakes
2 tsp Dried Cilantro
1 tbsp flour
3 tsp Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt
or Country Bob's Cajun Seasoning (coming soon)
1/2 Lemon
2/3 cup Water
Chopped Parsley for garnish

Directions

Pierce your potatoes with a fork then boil the potatoes and corn for 12 minutes. Set the potatoes and corn to the side. In a large pot, melt the butter and sauté the diced red onion for 2 minutes over medium. Add the garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes. Add the Jalapeno, diced green onion and broken up bouillon cube and stir until well mixed for about 4 minutes.

Add the red pepper flakes, onion flakes, garlic flakes, dried cilantro, Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt and flour to the mixture. Stir until well mixed.

Squeeze the juice from the lemon into the pan catching the seeds in a strainer. Add the water and stir to mix until it begins to boil. Add the potatoes, corn, sausage and shrimp to the pot and cover with a lid. Cook until the shrimp begin to turn pink stirring every now and then. This should take about 6-8 minutes. When the shrimp are cooked, remove the lid, garnish with chopped parsley and serve with extra lemons!
