Ingredients:
2-3 pound tomahawk steak
2 tbsp Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp butter
Directions
1
Season steak on all sides with Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt and garlic powder.
2
Using a smoker, set the temperature to 225. Insert a temperature probe into the meatiest part of the steak. Place on the grill and close the lid. Smoke steak until the internal temperature reaches 130 degrees.
3
Once temperature reaches 130, remove the temperature gauge from the steak, remove steak from the smoker and set aside while you increase the heat of the smoker or grill. Increase the heat to about 450-500 degrees. Once the grill has reached the desired temperature, insert the temperature gauge back into the steak and sear on each side for about 2-3 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 135 degrees.
4
Remove steak and place butter on the top while you let it rest for 6-8 minutes. Cut the meat from the bone and slice into strips. Serve immediately!
