Simple Steak
We're doing a simple steak recipe on the grill for our “Date Night” dinner tonight!
Ingredients
Sirloin Steaks Country Bob's
Seasoning Salt
Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce
Directions
1
Give the steaks a nice dusting of Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt. It’s a well-rounded seasoning that we also like on ribs and chicken. Patti made a cold green bean salad to go with our steak fries and steaks. We added a little zip to the fries, also with some Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt.
2
We are just going to talk about the steaks tonight. Rub your steaks down with a dusting of Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt and let them come up to room temperature. Now, just let them sit in the smoke for 30 minutes or so. This adds layers of flavor and still lets the flavor of the steak sing. You want your seasonings to compliment your food, not overpower.
3
After 30 minutes pull your steaks off the grill and turn your pellet grill up to 500 degrees (260C) and let your grill grates get hot. We did these at 4 minutes per side with a quarter turn halfway through. Beautiful. We like to pull our steaks around 130 degrees (55C) nice and rare.

Serve with Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce on the side or coat both sides before you pull them off the grill/smoker.
