Country Bob’s Spicy Habanero Chili
This spicy chili is stuffed with serrano peppers, habanero peppers, and cayenne peppers. It's crazy spicy, but crazy delicious!
1 pound Ground beef
1 pound eye of round steak cut into bite size squares
1 yellow onion diced
4 cloves garlic minced
2 serrano peppers seeded and diced
2 habanero peppers seeded and diced
1/4 cup green onion diced (the white parts)
1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
2 cup chicken stock
2 tbsp Country Bob’s AP Sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt and pepper
Heat a large pot to medium heat. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper then sear in the pot until browned on all sides. Remove steak from pot and set aside. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add the garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, onion powder, cayenne, salt and pepper. Stir in the onion, garlic, serrano, habanero and green onion. Cook until soft, about 6 minutes.
Add the steak back to the pot with the chicken stock, Country Bob’s AP Sauce, and diced tomatoes.
Stir and bring the pot to a boil. Cover with a lid and reduce the temperature to low. Let the chili cook covered for about 2 hours stirring every now and then. Uncover and cook for another 15 minutes uncovered and serve!
Top with cheese, sour cream, green onions or diced red onion and some more Country Bob’s AP Sauce and enjoy!
