MOINK Balls

This recipe is a recent discovery by one of our guys here at Country Bob’s. MOINK. As in “MOO” and “OINK.” That’s beef (moo) meatballs wrapped in bacon (oink). We used the frozen pre-made meatballs. We also include an alternate meatball recipe. Country Bob’s MOINK Balls will make everyone yell “Moink”!

Ingredients

 Meatball:

 28 oz frozen pre-made Beef Meatballs (partially thawed)
2 lb Cut Bacon
2 teaspoons Country Bobs Seasoning Salt
13oz Country Bobs All Purpose Sauce
Alternate Meatball Ingredients:
1½ pound ground beef chuck, at least 20% fat
¾ cup fresh breadcrumbs
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoons freshly minced garlic
1 teaspoon Country Bobs Seasoning Salt

MOINK Meatballs:

  • Wrap each meatball with half slice of bacon. Insert a toothpick to hold it together. Sprinkle with Seasoning Salt. Grill at 250 degrees for 90 minutes.

  • We used our Primo Grill.

  • Baste with All Purpose Sauce. Grill for additional 10 minutes.

Alternate Meatball Directions:

  • Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic, and seasoning salt in a large bowl.

  • Mix until thoroughly combined.

  • Roll out meat mixture into 1-inch diameter balls.
