2 Jalapeños
1.50 cups Coleslaw
3 Cloves of Garlic
4 - 8 Petite Potatoes
Hamburger Buns
2 tbsp Butter
Smoked Gouda Cheese
1/4 cup Bourbon
2 tbsp Honey
1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
Olive Oil
2 tbsp Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce
1/3 cup Country Bob's Barbeque Sauce (glaze)
Directions
1
Sweet heat bourbon burgers will hit the spot! First, prep your vegetables. To get started, chop the garlic and red onion. Slice the rest of the red onion into 3-4 burger topper slices and the Jalapeño into 12-15 slices. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Slice the potatoes into fourths and put into a bowl. Coat with a couple tablespoons of olive oil. Sprinkle Country Bob's Seasoning Salt to your liking. Toss the potatoes to coat. And then, empty onto a single layer on a foil lined baking sheet. Bake for 30 min.
2
While the potatoes are baking, melt a tbsp of butter in a small sauce pan. Turn heat to medium low, sprinkle a pinch of Country Bob's Seasoning salt, and cook the chopped garlic and onions in the butter until soft and fragrant. About 8 minutes. De-glaze the pan with the bourbon and stir. Add the Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce, Country Bob's Barbeque Sauce and honey and stir. Until it's reduced to a syrupy glaze, let the mixture cook on low heat.
3
While the sauce is cooking, butter the buns with the remaining tbsp of butter. Grill the onions slices, Jalapeño slices, and buns on a grill pan or skillet until browned. Set aside. Form the beef into patties and sprinkle with Country Bob's Seasoning Salt. Heat a skillet to medium. Depending on thickness, cook the patties for 3 min per side. In addition, cook the bacon until it is almost done but not crispy.
4
At this point, your potatoes should be ready. Remove and turn the oven to broil. Place the burger and bacon on a baking sheet. Coat each with a generous amount of the bourbon sauce. Later, place directly under the broiler until bubbly. About 2 minutes. As a result, this will finish off the bacon.
5
Remove from the oven and place the bacon on the bottom bun but leave the burger on the sheet. Top the burger with the grilled onion, Jalapeño and smoked gouda. Also, place back under the broiler until the cheese melts.
6
Remove from the broiler and place the burger on the bun on top of the bacon. In a bowl, mix the coleslaw with the ranch and Country Bob's Barbeque Sauce. Top the burger with the slaw and use any extra bourbon sauce to coat the top bun. After that, serve immediately with the roasted potatoes and enjoy your sweet heat bourbon burgers!
