Ingredients
Turkey:
22 lbs Turkey
3 Bottles of Country Bob's Marinade Or enough to cover the entire turkey
Country Bob's Seasoning Salt Enough to cover the entire turkey
Baste:
0.50 cup Unsalted butter
1 tsp Country Bob's Seasoning Salt
1 tsp Thyme
1 tsp Dried basil
1 tsp Sage
Ceramic Turkey Stand (Optional):
12 oz Water
1 cup Unsalted butter
1 tbsp Minced garlic

Directions

1
Use a large bowl or food safe container to marinate the turkey with Country Bob’s marinade for 2-hours Remove from marinade, rinse with cold water, and pat dry

2
Generously cover the turkey in seasoning salt. Set your smoker for 250-275 degrees. Use whatever smoking wood you prefer, we used apple because of its mild and sweet flavor

3
We used a ceramic turkey stand to add extra flavor – they are around $15 on Amazon and a great way to keep your turkey moist. Place your turkey in the smoker and plan for around 20-30 mins per pound

4
Baste your turkey every hour – while doing so, check the internal temperature using a meat thermometer. Once the internal temperature of the meat reaches 165 degrees remove the turkey and let rest for 5 minutes.
